Bali, is one of the tourists most point of interest islands. If you are an Indonesian citizen, don’t you ever skip this goddess island. How on earth do the people from other countries willing to fly far away to visit Bali, and we, the domestic people skip it?
Bali traveling costs a lot? Depends on how you travel… as usual, in UniquelyIndonesia, we will show you how to travel to Bali on budget.
Transportation : This might be the most cost spent. We can reach Bali via land or sky. Your time and energy worth more, so my suggestion is to use airplane to save the time. Some airlines offer the savvy ticket fare in the condition, you book the tickets away before you fly. Some even require up to 7 months prior. We recommend: AirAsia airlines.

When you visit Bali, probably you want to buy handicraft, souvenirs or gifts for your friends or family, we recommend several place to buy :
Art Shop Kuta. Along of street to Kuta beach, you’ll find a lot of art shop that displays handicraft. But you have to bargain here, ask the price for half price even 1/4 from the price they offered. Don’t be hesitate, just ask for lower price. And if you do have time, just compare to other shop to make sure the price is right.

Lawang Sewu located at Tugu Muga Semarang (Central Java). It is a famous landmark in the region of Semarang and a pride for Java. This ancient & magnificent building was an office of Nederlandsch Indishe Spoorweg Naatschappij (NIS), which was built starting in 1903 and completed in the year 1907. After Indonesia’s independence this building is used for office DKARI (now PT KAI-Indonesian Rail Company), after PT KAI move to a new building, this building used by Kodam IV / Diponegoro (Indonesian Military). After Kodam IV move to new building, Lawang Sewu was left empty for many years.
People called this building “Lawang Sewu” that means thousand doors. Because this building has a lot of rooms, and each room has about 4-8 doors, then if calculated is about 1000 doors. This building is beautiful with art deco style. It said that its floors made from marble from Italy, its iron spiral-staircase was made without any weld. Sam Poo Kong temple located at Simongan village, Semarang. It would be easy to find this place, as there are several sign board showing direction to this place. That temple is called Stone House (Gedung Batu) because there is a big stone cave in it. The people believe that it is the place where the admiral Cheng Ho, who also was known as Sam Poo Tay Djien, anchored and made headquarters there, when he visited to Java island with his soldiers and crews in the past.
